About Eagle
The Eagle Idaho neighborhood is a quaint town located about 11 miles west of Boise, Idaho in the foothills. Although Eagle is smaller than Boise, in term of residents, it still offers a rich assortment of amenities including a downtown full of restaurants and local shops.
Eagle contains one high school, one middle school and two elementary schools that are part of the largest school district in Idaho, West Ada School District.
There are numerous outdoor activities to do in the Eagle, Idaho neighborhood. The Boise River and greenbelt are a short walk away that allow for fly fishing, biking and walking.
Eagle is also home to two golf courses, Eagles Hill Golf Course and Banbury Golf Course. Eagles Hill Golf Course is located north of Eagle and contains 18 holes set against the backdrop of the Boise Mountains. Banbury Golf Course is located south of Eagle and has 18 holes that feature fairways, water hazards and sand traps. Furthermore, Banbury Golf Course was recently named Best of Treasure Valley Best Golf Course in 2016.
In addition, the Eagle Idaho neighborhood is home to many local horse barns. This can make for a great drive down Floating Feather or Beacon Light especially during the fall time.
Also, the Eagle Idaho neighborhood also features many yearly events, such as Eagle Fun Days and the Eagle Rodeo.
