Living in Southeast Boise

A key feature of living in Southeast Boise is the dinning. Bown Crossing has a local candy store, Powell’s Candy Shop and lots of restaurants featuring outdoor dinning. As a result, Barbacoas has become a dinning destination featuring table side guacamole and stunning views of the Boise River.

Southeast Boise has a lot of great outdoor spaces, including Barber Park and Warm Springs Golf Course. Barber Park is the starting place to begin floating the river. Floating the river is a summer activity loved by the locals. Warm Springs Golf Course features 18 holes located between the Boise River and foothills. Also, Natatorium Pool is located in Southeast Boise. This pool features a main pool, kiddie pool and a hydrotube water slide.

There are six elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school located in the Southeast Boise boundary. There are also low density living areas and a clean environment.

Another great thing about Southeast Boise is the Idaho Shakespeare festival. The festival is held every summer at the local outdoor theatre.
