About Meridian

Living in Meridian Idaho means being part of a community that’s built for business and designed for living. Meridian is home to large local businesses like Scentsy, Blue Cross of Idaho and Bodybuilding.com. Since Meridian has grown a lot in the last decade, the city has become a destination to shop and dine.

Living in Meridian Idaho

The most iconic part of Meridian is the Village. A huge outdoor mall the has shops, restaurants, a movie theater and gym. The Village also has some great outdoor attractions, including an outdoor park, skating ring in the winter and a beautiful fountain that features light shows. Meridian Speedway, one of two rack tracks in Ada County, is located in Meridian.

Meridian is part of the West Ada School District. There are 14 elementary schools, seven middle schools and seven high schools located in Meridian.

Living in Meridian Idaho also means being close to a lot of public parks. These include the Eagle Island State Park which allows for activities like horseback riding, disc golf, a water slide and paddle board rentals. Also, Meridian is home to the Roaring Springs Water Park and Wahooz Fun Zone. Roaring Springs features a lazy river and exciting water rides. Wahooz has go-cart racing, laser tag and putt putt golf.

Meridian has many annual events. There is the Treasure Valley Kite Festival, outdoor movies in the summer and the farmers market.
